This contemporary suite for 3 people is on the first floor of a chalet-style cottage, set in unspoiled landscape. The chalet is part of a small complex on an organic farm. The suite would suit family or friends who want to get out into nature.
Whilst the outside of the cottage looks traditional, the light-filled interior is furnished in an attractive, modern style with a twin joinable bed, a single bed and a flat-screen TV. Around the corner is an area with a hanging rail, table and chairs, where guests make themselves a cup of coffee. Double glass doors in the bedroom open onto a private wooden balcony with a café-style table and chairs.
Outside the front door of the cottage is a shaded veranda with outside seating. This overlooks the extensive shared garden with a children’s play area. In the garden, guests will find communal seating and dining set-up’s as well as a BBQ.

Location
The farm is in the Koroska region, close to the border between Slovenia and Austria, in beautiful countryside. It is the perfect base for a hiking or mountain biking break. The area is well-known for its many trails and stunning landscapes. The Single Trail Park Jamnica is on the doorstep and offers a wide variety of routes for all levels.
In the winter months, there are several ski resorts within 30 minutes of the farm but the best destination is Ski Centre Kope (1 hour). For adrenaline-seekers there are several frozen waterfalls or mountains to climb.
There are many activities for children and adults alike. Close to the farm, there are themed walking routes where you can learn about the local nature and traditions (in several languages). Also nearby is Huda Luknja cave to explore (1 hour) or alpacas to meet at Alpaka Land (45 minutes). The fairytale forest at Dezela Skratov (40 minutes) makes are great day out for younger children, and for a more grown-up adventure, try the Enigmarium Escape Room in Slovenj Gradec (40 minutes)
There are supermarkets and grocery stores in Prevalje (17 minute drive) for self-catering. The town has all the amenities visitors will need, including banks, restaurants and pharmacies.
Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana is just 2 hours away and is a fascinating day trip.
The nearest airport is at Klagenfurt in Austria (1 hour) alternatively, Ljubljana Airport is a 1 hour, 50 minute drive.
